New roles in Metalcolour’s Management Team

A first step towards a generational shift for the future of Metalcolour

We are so proud that Metalcolour now is celebrating its first half century. Since 1973 we have been at the forefront of coil-coating metal innovation and we are delighted to commemorate this important milestone. For 50 years we have focused on delivering value to our clients, offering flexible customer service and setting a market standard in delivery times. This customer-centered approach has formed our production process in order to find solutions to the toughest challenges together with our clients. Many years may have passed by but we remain committed to providing the highest quality products and services on the market.

Of course we are now looking forward to the next 50 years and this brings a number of developments. In order to facilitate a generational shift toward the future of Metalcolour we are pleased to announce Ingemar Forsberg as chairman of the board of Metalcolour Sweden. Markus Nordkvist will become Managing Director of Metalcolour Sweden and Jakob Søndergaard Nielsen will take the role of Managing Director of Metalcolour Denmark.

Markus was previously Finance Director responsible for economics, staff and IT, and Jakob was COO responsible for plant and operations in Denmark. Both Markus and Jakob bring expert local knowledge to their respective regions offering our customers even more specialised service and understanding. For our client’s day-to-day business little will change, our skilled employees employees and contacts will remain at your service as usual and Ingemar Forsberg will continue supervising Group Sales. However these steps ensure that the next 50 years of Metalcolour’s innovation, quality and service remain as strong and consistent as all the ones before them.

Looking to the near future we continue to explore new markets in the train sector which complements our firm position within shipping and ferries. We venture towards in-sourcing – absorbing manufacturing techniques into our own processes that were previously out-sourced. This allows us to offer even more value to our clients through streamlining and flexibility. The launch of Endure, our new product made specifically for exterior doors, has been very well received. With all of this to look forward to the next 50 years will fly by.
